Sensei Celine Otto

Celine was born, raised, and educated in Mauritius Island, South Indian Ocean. At the age of 20, she moved the Paris, France, where she lived for the next ten years. After her marriage to Master Jerry Otto in 1997, she often trained with the master but never got serious about martial arts.

In the late 90s’, Celine began her professional teaching career working in the private school sector in Pennsylvania, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and St. Maarten, DWI.

After nearly fifteen years of teaching children ages three to six, she decided to teach martial arts to children. In 2016, Celine began her formal training under the master.

Today, Celine is the co-owner of St. Thomas, VI., Shen Dragon Karate Dojo, where she uses her many years as an educator to create programs and is the primary instructor of the children’s program. At the age of 53, Celine finally achieved her Shodan, first-degree black belt.
